Audiology for young adults
We are trying to develop our transition clinic for young adults and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in this? We are looking for ideas to create a service that will appeal to teenagers, so that they feel confident in accessing the services that we can provide.

Hi
it maybe a good idea to visit the teenager in the childrens service first. This makes it easier as the child will probably be used to attending here.
Have one Audiologist that specialises in the transistion phase so the child can become accustomed to them.
Eventually they can attend the adult department to see that Audiologist.
Lots of choice - like coloured moulds, aids etc
Then its just a matter of deciding to fit them to NAL or DSL??????

I know that a website was set up. This in collaboration with a pediatrician from Bonn. Currently, this site will serve as first point of contact for young mothers.
Well ...
