Hi

I know that our Hearing Therapist has attended a CBT course for use with Tinnitus and other patients but whether she has started to use it I dont know.

If she has it would only be in the last few weeks but I could ask how she is finding it if that would help?

I have spoken to our Hearing Therapist regarding use of CBT with tinnitus patients and she reports that she uses some of the principles with some of the patients but feels that they would have to be scoring very high on the tinnitus scale for her to use CBT to it's fullest extent.

She does feel it is useful in helping patients gain awareness of the triggers and the 'cycle' of tinnitus and retain control by managing it.
